My name is Valerie. I started blogging in 2011 on my original stuck in books blog. I’m a teacher and have taught math and computer science. In 2022, in addition to taking a break from blogging, I accepted my dream teaching position. The position was part books and part working with gifted students. It was the books part that had me so excited. I worked in the LIBRARY. I purchased books for our middle school. I talked books with students and helped English teachers plan lessons around books. This job has been the best 3 years of my teaching career. Alas, it came to end this year with budget cuts and I am back to teaching computer science. But I still talk to students about books!
